gold gold GOLD!

Everywhere I look I'm seeing spots gold polka dots and I love it!! I can't seem to get enough stuff with gold polka dots. The other night I sat my coffee cup down and realized that not only did it have gold polka dots but so did the bag and notebook beside it.

Here are some of the things I am obsessing over right now:

This coffee cup from Starbucks it a must have.

I

I would die for a gold polka dotted bathroom or closet.

All of my planners and note books have gold polka dots.

Clothes! Any type of clothing with gold polka dots or even just gold.

I am so crazy about gold that my lovely husband even DIY'd me a coffee mug with my initial on it! Love it. Which has inspired some DIY gifts for Christmas!

Being Real. Being ME.

Over the past couple of weeks I have found comfort in this quote. I have always been and will always be a real person. Say what I feel, how I see things and how I view the truth. I have never apologized for it and never will. I may explain my feelings but what I feel is what I feel.

I have been blessed to have a few friends that are the same way as I. We get along great. Yes, our feelings still get hurt, we have our little fights and at times we hate each other (only for moments) but at the end of our conversations we know we are just being real with each other. I wouldn't have it any other way. I love those girls and I know they love me, because if they didn't they would just tell me what I wanted to hear!

Just shoot me

A few months ago I decided I wanted to make one of Gray's Christmas presents. I reached out to one of my favorite places, Junque 2 Jewels, and set a date and time to make this idea a reality. Finally the day arrived, I was going to make Gray a target board for his Nerf guns!!

I was pumped when I arrived, but shortly after starting I got really discouraged. My first idea to paint the target camo went south fast when my OCD of perfection got the best of me. So I then painted over everything with black and made a black & white target. This project was by far the biggest pain in my ass.  However, my idea is now a reality and I hope Gray likes it!

This is the target when I arrived.

And this is the target finished.

I will spare you all the in between pics and tantrums!
